Trial Attorney
Location: White Plains, NY – (In-office, hybrid or remote)

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate has strong courtroom skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through verdict. This role requires excellent analytical abilities, polished writing and oral advocacy skills, and the confidence to handle complex matters independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all phases of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial.
- Represent clients in state and/or federal courts, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Develop case strategies and provide clients with clear, timely updates and recommendations.
- Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Draft substantive motions, briefs, memoranda, and settlement proposals.
- Evaluate claims, assess liability and damages, and formulate litigation budgets.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with partners, associates, support staff, and clients.
- Maintain high professional and ethical standards in all aspects of work.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission.
- 7 years of litigation and trial experience.
- Proven track record of handling trials or significant courtroom experience.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
