Ultimately, the Leasing Consultant contributes directly to the financial success and reputation of Legend Oaks Apartments by delivering exceptional customer service and achieving leasing goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with property management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with OneSite or similar property management software platforms.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing compliance standards.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to better serve a diverse resident population.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding leasing targets in a multi-family residential environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and informative tours of available apartment units and community amenities to prospective residents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person visits, providing accurate leasing information.
- Assist applicants through the leasing process, including application completion, credit and background checks, and lease agreement execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of apartment availability, pricing, and community policies to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement leasing promotions and community events that attract potential residents.
- Maintain accurate and organized leasing documentation and resident records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide ongoing support to current residents by addressing leasing-related questions and facilitating lease renewals.
