The Receptionist position greets clients and ensures the Interior Designer greets the client. Under the direction of the General Manager or Sales Manager, the receptionist is responsible for the “UPS” system. Each Designer scheduled will be placed in the appropriate rotation to ensure all clients are properly greeted and all Designers are treated fairly on the retail floor. Receptionist will complete reports, follow up on specific customer requests, and ensure the integrity of the “UPS” system. Projects the Company’s professional image.
Essential Functions And Basic Duties
Excellent phone skills.
Good communication and public relations skills.
Well organized and attentive to detail.
Willing to cooperate with and assist others.
Able to use PC, printer, phones, and basic business equipment
Position is for Weekends Only - Saturdays:10:00am - 6:00pm and Sundays: 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Essential Functions And Basic Duties
- Assumes responsibility for the effective performance of assigned receptionist functions.
- Receives telephone calls. Answers routine questions or directs clients to appropriate consultant or designer.
- Maintains Department files.
- Monitors the activity on the sales floor and ensures consultants and designers are in the appropriate location as determined by the “UPS” system used in the store
- Responsible for the professional image of the receptionist desk.
- Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective business relations with clients, vendors, and trade professionals.
- Assists with questions and problems courteously and promptly.
- Assists business office as directed/needed.
- Maintains the Company's professional reputation.
