Bilingual Parent Educator/Family Coach

Join a growing team! Our Parent Coaches work with parents in 1:1 and group settings to work with child welfare and court involved families, and support them in learning new skills to support healthy child development and connection.

Responsibilities:

• Assess parenting skills, and establish goals to improve parenting skills
• Provide guidance and support to parents in navigating child welfare and social work systems
• Utilize skills in crisis intervention and management to assist families in challenging situations.
• Offer childcare advice and resources, incorporating knowledge of child development
• Collaborate with other professionals to address complex family dynamics effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Social Work, Human Services, Child Development, Early Ed, or related field
• Experience with children and families
• Interest in working as part of a collaborative team
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bilingual: Spanish/English preferred
