What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Attendant position at Roadstar Hotel Zephyrhills?

Do you have a passion for service and love to put a smile on people’s faces? You’ll welcome guests, manage their account information, and ensure they have everything they need for an exceptional stay.
Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
  • Mitigate customer complaints as needed
  • Answer incoming calls and questions about guests’ needs in-person and online regarding room bookings, room rates, amenities, available rooms, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready
  • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information

Qualifications:

  • Exhibits working knowledge of Apple Ipad and reservation management systems
  • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred but willing to train
  • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
