Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by cleaning fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate treatments to preserve their appearance and longevity
- Restock linens, toiletries, and other supplies to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while executing daily tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not required—training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong understanding of custodial practices with an emphasis on sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving furniture or equipment as needed
