Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and recreational spaces to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to preserve a pristine environment.
- Handle laundry responsibilities by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Restock supplies like toiletries, cleaning products, and guest amenities to ensure availability at all times.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning equipment, and janitorial practices.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry operations and customer service principles enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Experience managing housekeeping tasks or supervising teams demonstrates leadership capabilities beneficial for advancement.
