What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Part-Time - Omer/Standish Area position at Road Runr Maintenance, Inc.?
Road Runr is looking for motivated, high energy team members that will perform the general cleaning requirements for our customers. Team members are expected to provide a consistent and high quality service by maintaining a clean, secure and a safe work environment.
HOURS
- Monday through Sunday 10AM until finished
- Pay is daily pay with travel reimbursement
- other days/shifts available on an as-needed basis
COMPENSATION
- $40/Day plus travel expense
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be cleaning 2 rest areas in the Omer and Standish Areas. Will need to be able to drive between locations. Will also need to be able to store cleaning supplies/needs in vehicle. Along with taking trash to near by job site in order to throw away
- Summer position only - job ends end of October - possibility of being transferred to another location
- Emptying trash containers, taking trash to nearby job location
- Dusting, spot cleaning, mopping floors, polishing surfaces
- Cleaning/sanitizing and stocking restrooms; cleaning toilets, sinks, floors, plunging toilets, etc.,
- Will need to be able to sweep off roof using broom or leaf blower
- Picking up litter on the property
- Cleaning out picnic areas and grills
- Follow and comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
- Other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in janitorial or related field preferred but willing to train the right individual
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have vehicle to travel between job site AND haul trash to nearby job site
- Ability to carry out detailed oral or written instructions
- Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
- Disposition to perform other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand/walk for entire length of your shift
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled carts loaded with products up to 50 pounds
