What You’ll Do
- Write clear, compelling, on-brand copy for email, web, catalogs, product descriptions, social media, blogs, and in-store signage.
- Develop headlines, taglines, CTAs, and scripts that make people want to move, literally.
- Bring the Road Runner Sports brand voice to life in every project, from awareness campaigns to training videos.
- Collaborate with designers, ecommerce, and marketing partners to translate briefs into standout creative.
- Proofread and QA copy for accuracy, tone, flow, and legal requirements.
- Use performance insights and feedback from the team to optimize messaging.
- Jump into creative brainstorms, pitch fresh ideas, and help evolve our content strategy.
- Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- 6 years of hands-on copywriting experience (retail, ecommerce, lifestyle, or agency preferred).
- A strong portfolio showing mastery of brand voice across multiple channels.
- Experience writing emails, social media, product descriptions, and blogs.
- Top-notch grammar and attention to detail; you catch the mistakes no one else sees.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to give and receive feedback.
- Use AI platforms to speed up ideation and processes while keeping the human spark.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or equivalent experience.
