Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and guest flow, ensuring timely service.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies.
- Manage cashier responsibilities by processing payments accurately through POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and hotel folio charges if applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and cashier station in compliance with food safety standards.
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
- Support food service staff with basic organizational tasks during busy periods to ensure seamless operations.
