Pay: $19–$23 per hour (based on assignment and experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct support to students with disabilities, focusing on behavioral, social-emotional, academic, and educational development.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior interventions and strategies outlined in IEPs and student support plans.
• Support students with academic tasks, classroom activities, and instructional materials based on their individual needs.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Support positive behavior management and reinforce social-emotional, communication, and interpersonal skill development in the classroom.
• Provide support with transitions, routines, organization, and daily classroom expectations.
• Facilitate one-on-one or small group sessions targeting behavioral, academic, and skill-building goals.
• Promote student independence and self-advocacy through prompting, modeling, reinforcement, and other appropriate support strategies.
• Support students in developing communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, BCBAs, and specialists to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavioral and educational supports.
• Assist with de-escalation and crisis prevention strategies in accordance with student plans and school protocols.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that promotes student success.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Experience working with children, especially in school, camp, or care settings (preferred)
• Ability to pass state/federal background checks and fingerprinting
