Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Experienced Apprentice or Journeyman Service Plumber to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform essential plumbing services, maintenance, and repairs across various commercial and residential settings. Our ideal candidate has knowledge in these areas: drain augers, drain repair, backflow repair, fixtures, jetting, camera inspections, copper pipe, lift stations, pumps, commercial water heaters and boilers. Experience in service plumbing is required. Background, Drivers, and Physical checks will be required.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Perform pipe threading, braising, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure leak-proof connections.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues related to general maintenance needs.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing problems on field service calls efficiently.
- Follow safety protocols on sites and maintain compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an apprentice or journeyman plumber with a strong background in service plumbing.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, braising equipment, and pipe threading machines.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined or elevated spaces safely.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate various field service vehicles is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
- Keep up to date with current safety regulations and code requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains.
- Work carefully to follow all current code regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspection.
- Communicate well with team members and customers.
- Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites.
Pay: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour
