About the Role
We’re looking for a Laborer that will be responsible for cleaning and preparing construction sites, supporting skilled trades, and assisting with the erection of structures and buildings. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a team environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Site Preparation and Cleanup
- Clean and prepare construction sites for daily activities.
- Unload and load materials, supplies, and mixed concrete.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area throughout the project.
- Trade Support
- Assist Carpenters, Operators, and other skilled workers as directed.
- Provide general labor support for construction activities across multiple trades.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor to support project needs.
- Tools and Equipment Operation
- Operate jackhammers, earth tampers, and other hand or power tools under supervision.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working order.
- Report damaged or unsafe equipment to supervisors immediately.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of general construction safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in varying conditions.
- 1–2 years of experience in construction or general labor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with construction tools, materials, and equipment.
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete training.
