Laborer/Rigger
Qualifications:
- A High School or GED diploma preferred.
- Some experience in construction preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes, executes and adheres to the company’s safety program.
- Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings problems or concerns to the attention of the supervisor or safety manager.
- Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.
- Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
- Performs materials handling and storage.
- Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
- Performs other construction duties or task as required based on company’s needs.
