Position Summary:
RN Enterprises is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staffing & Data Entry Coordinator to support our nursing and operations teams. This role is responsible for coordinating nurse staffing assignments, managing restaffing requests, and ensuring timely and accurate entry of patient referral and scheduling data into our system. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain strong communication with internal teams and pharmacy partners, and be passionate about supporting patient care logistics.
Key Responsibilities: Staffing Coordination:
- Assign cases to available nurses based on geography, licensure, and therapy type.
- Monitor and respond to restaff requests from nurses, patients, or pharmacy partners.
- Communicate directly with nurses regarding new case assignments and follow-ups.
- Track availability of field nurses and maintain up-to-date schedules.
- Escalate complex restaff or availability issues to management when needed.
Data Entry & System Management:
- Enter all patient demographics, payor details, and scheduling data into the system (e.g., AlayaCare, Salesforce).
- Document patient updates, visit outcomes, and changes in care plans accurately and timely.
- Ensure all required intake fields are completed and reflect current referral status.
- Move and archive No-Go or inactive patients into appropriate files for compliance.
Communication & Reporting:
- Maintain clear and professional communication with pharmacies, internal departments, and field staff.
- Participate in team check-ins and audits of charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide backup coverage in nursing and intake email inboxes as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of healthcare, medical staffing, or administrative support experience.
- Proficiency in data systems such as AlayaCare, Salesforce, or similar EMR platforms is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with home infusion therapy and nursing logistics.
- Experience in HIPAA-compliant environments.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Occasional weekend/on-call rotations may be required after training
