Position Summary
A certified plumber in Florida installs, repairs, and maintains plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires compliance with Florida building codes, strong technical skills, and the ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and technical drawings
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with local and state codes
- Diagnose problems using tools and testing equipment
- Repair leaks, clogs, and damaged piping systems
- Install and service water heaters, garbage disposals, and other appliances
- Ensure all work meets standards set by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation
- Provide cost estimates and communicate effectively with clients
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Florida plumbing license (Journeyman or Contractor level)
- Proven experience as a plumber (typically 2–5 years)
- Knowledge of Florida Plumbing Code and local regulations
- Ability to use plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Salary : $45,000 - $60,000
