The APM will work directly with our Project Manager and play an active role in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day project activities, schedules, and budgets
- Prepare, track, and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes
- Support subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, and award recommendations
- Coordinate with field staff, superintendents, and trade partners to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Attend project meetings with clients, design teams, and GC partners
- Monitor and update project schedules, flagging potential risks or delays
- Assist in financial tracking including pay applications, purchase orders, and cost-to-complete reports
- Maintain accurate project records within Procore or similar project management platforms
- Support project closeout including punch list management, as-builts, and turnover documents
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field or project administration experience strongly considered
- 1–3 years of commercial or multi-family construction experience (internships or assistant PM roles strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with construction documents, drawings, and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); knowledge of Procore or Bluebeam a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Team-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn and grow into a PM role
