We are looking for an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our growing construction team.
Responsibilities
- Metal stud framing and wall layout
- Drywall installation
- ACT/acoustical ceiling grid and tile
- Commercial doors, frames and hardware
- Blocking, backing and miscellaneous carpentry
- Finish carpentry and trim
- Read and work from blueprints and construction drawings
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Work independently and as part of a commercial construction crew
- Maintain high standards for quality, productivity and job-site safety
Requirements
- 3–5 years commercial carpentry experience preferred
- Must have experience working on commercial construction projects
- Ability to read plans and perform layout
- Must have reliable transportation
_ Valid NJ drivers license
-clean criminal background and driving history
- Must be dependable and show up on time
- OSHA 10/30 and lift certifications are a plus
- Must be able to work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision
