Stryker Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our growing team. We work throughout the counties and surrounding areas of Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, and Morris of New Jersey, in addition to some areas of eastern Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, the ability to work independently or alongside a crew, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and professional manner.
This position involves installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial plumbing systems on a variety of construction and renovation projects.
Experienced Commercial Plumber Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings
- Install piping systems including copper, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and steel pipe
- Set fixtures, equipment, and trim
- Perform underground and above-ground rough-in work
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experienced Commercial Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of commercial plumbing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and installation practices
- Ability to read blueprints and layout work independently
- Experience with new construction and renovation projects
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Journeyman license preferred but not required
