Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Create innovative cocktail recipes and suggest drink pairings to enhance guest experiences
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process orders and cash transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Engage with guests warmly, providing exceptional customer service to foster repeat business and positive reviews
• Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and monitor beverage quality
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift boxes and fulfill cleaning duties

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer styles
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast POS for seamless transaction processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining or hospitality settings
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly
• Ability to develop new beverage recipes and contribute creatively to the bar menu
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations like measuring ingredients or handling cash transactions
• Familiarity with beverage industry trends including spirits knowledge, brewing processes, and wine appreciation
• Strong organizational skills for managing bar stock levels and maintaining cleanliness standards
