Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink options with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, processing cash transactions, and giving accurate change
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by performing regular cleaning duties and adhering to food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or concerns
- Assist in food preparation tasks related to food safety and food handling standards within the café environment
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality or safety
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with beverage service, drink preparation, and café operations is desirable
