Property Manager
RLJ Management is seeking a part time, traveling Property Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing Taylorsville Place & Mt. Washington Terrace.
Pay: $19.00- $20.00
Benefits: Paid Holidays, PTO after 90 days, Flexible hours
Qualifications
· High school or equivalent
· Property management experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of the residential property
- Control expenses and meet financial objectives according to the operating budget; Prepare financial reports regularly
- Supervise the collection of rents and all monies on site and ensure prompt deposit and accurate record keeping of these funds
- Develop, implement and monitor marketing strategy to maximize resident retention and generate a sustaining flow of qualified prospects
- Develop and implement positive resident relations program for the community
- Show and lease apartments; Process applications and move in and move out documents
- Achieve and maintain designated occupancy goals and objectives
- Inspect the property on a regular basis and schedule improvements and repairs
- Complete and submit, timely and accurately, all records, reports and documents required by the company and federal or state agencies
- Ensure compliance with all HUD, USDA, and Fair Housing regulations
- Travel to both properties is required
Preferred Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of related experience and/or training
- Previous tax credit experience is preferred
- The ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, property management software
- The willingness to work flexible hours/days
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
