About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and execution-oriented Operations Manager to support the Physical AI team as we expand our field data collection capabilities globally. This role will help design and operationalize new programs, develop scalable playbooks, and support the execution of pilots that enable high-quality data collection in real-world environments.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building processes from the ground up, and is comfortable coordinating across a diverse set of stakeholders. This role will partner closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Supply, Legal, Policy, and regional teams to translate emerging business needs into repeatable operational solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape a growing function at the intersection of operations, technology, and AI development. The successful candidate will play a key role in testing new operating models, generating insights from pilot programs, and helping establish the foundations for scalable field data collection worldwide.
What you’ll do:
-Design and document operational playbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and pilot execution frameworks.
-Support end-to-end planning and execution of field data collection pilots across multiple markets.
-Be the connective tissue with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Product, Supply, Legal, and other partner teams to drive alignment and unblock execution.
-Establish pilot processes, workflows, success metrics, and reporting mechanisms.
-Identify operational risks, dependencies, and gaps; propose solutions and drive mitigation plans.
-Collect, synthesize, and communicate pilot learnings, recommendations, and next-step proposals.
-Build project plans, track milestones, manage timelines, and ensure key deliverables are completed.
-Support experimentation efforts by developing scalable operational models and testing new approaches.
-Analyze operational performance data and provide insights to improve program effectiveness and efficiency.
-Create executive-ready documentation, updates, and recommendations for leadership review.
-Travel to pilot locations as needed to support field operations, observe workflows firsthand, gather operational insights, and partner with local stakeholders during pilot planning and execution.
Hard requirements:
-B.A. or B.S. (no hard requirements on area of study)
-2 years of data collection or data annotation, or related experience (internships included)
-Brings proven experience while maintaining curiosity and a willingness to challenge assumptions
-Strong documentation skills (can write project plans that others can easily digest)
-Strong communication skills
-Proficient in GSuite
-English - Professional working proficiency
