Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes and graders.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, and material handling to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain safety standards and optimal performance.
- Support the installation of infrastructure components by using mechanical knowledge and operating specialized machinery such as Caterpillar equipment.
- Follow safety protocols diligently while working around construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with other construction duties as needed, including site cleanup and material delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working on construction sites with familiarity in heavy equipment operation such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders.
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and procedures.
- Prior experience in paving or infrastructure installation is advantageous.
