Key Responsibilities
- Perform waterproofing applications including caulking, sealants, coatings, and deck coating systems.
- Complete restoration work including tuck pointing, parking garage restoration, and related repair applications.
- Apply coatings and waterproofing materials with precision to ensure long-term durability and water resistance.
- Perform proper surface preparation including cleaning, masking, grinding, priming, and other required preparation procedures.
- Identify and address potential issues including cracks, leaks, and surface deficiencies.
- Safely operate equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts, ladders, and other specialized tools required for waterproofing applications.
- Follow project specifications, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites throughout the duration of each project.
- Communicate effectively with project supervisors and team members regarding job progress and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed work when required.
- Attend employee meetings and participate in company training opportunities.
- Accept responsibility for the proper care, custody, and use of company equipment, tools, materials, and other company assets.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong commitment to attendance and accountability.
- Previous experience in waterproofing, caulking, coatings, restoration, or commercial construction preferred.
- Experience with deck coatings, tuck pointing, and parking garage restoration is a plus.
- Ability to safely operate construction equipment; certifications are a plus.
- Understanding construction safety practices and job site requirements.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in elevated work environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and meet project deadlines.
