Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Roofing Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of installing, repairing, and maintaining various roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. • Roofing or construction experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person

Duties

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and other materials.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install roofing components according to project specifications.
• Set up ladders securely and utilize safety harnesses properly to ensure a safe working environment at heights.
• Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to accurately execute roofing projects.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, drywall, siding, and other construction supplies.
• Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to prevent accidents on site.
• Support fabrication tasks for custom roofing or siding components and assist with drywall installation, caulking, stucco work, or metal stud framing as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with construction safety harnesses, ladder use, and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) safety regulations is essential.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment in outdoor environments.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately.
• Hands-on experience with roofing repair, metal roofing installation, siding installation, or remodeling projects is advantageous.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently while maintaining productivity on the job site.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
