We are seeking a skilled Mechanic with a strong electrical background. In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing automotive systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks
- Utilize test lights, scan tools, and follow wiring diagrams in order to diagnose electrical issues
- Remove and replace faulty parts as needed
- Troubleshoot electrical systems including automotive diagnostics, wiring issues, alternators, HVAC units, starters, batteries, wiring harnesses, ECUs, and other electrical components.
- Use diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues accurately and efficiently restore equipment to optimal working condition.
- Maintain detailed service records of repairs performed and parts used; ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality expectations.
Skills
- Proven experience working as a mechanic.
- Basic knowledge of automotive electrical components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical systems and mechanical components accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about repairs or maintenance needs.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions; committed to safety at all times.
- Well-organized and clean
- Excellent attendance is a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $32.00 per hour
