Overview
RJR Safety Inc. is a growing safety consulting company based in southwestern Pennsylvania providing safety & health management, consulting, and training services to manufacturing/industrial companies, the construction industry, and the oil & gas industry (Upstream, Midstream, Pipeline) in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. This is a full-time salaried position.
Job Duties
- Providing safety consulting services to client companies
- Provide OSHA compliance services to client companies
- Procedures and safety systems development
- Conduct field audits, third party audits, and observations
- Develop/deliver safety training
- Conduct Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis
- Provide Worker Injury Prevention Practices
- Conduct ISNetWorld/Veriforce/Avetta maintenance projects
- Work within the guidance of a Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- 3 years of work experience, minimum:
- § Manufacturing/Industrial Safety, or
- § Construction Industry Safety or,
- § Oil & Gas Drilling, Production/Pipeline Safety or,
- § Combination of above
- Bachelors in safety-related degree
- Possesses, at least, one professional designation: ASP, OHST, CHST, or equivalent
- Physically located in southwestern PA, northeastern OH, or northern WV
- Must be able to pass and continue to pass a drug and/or alcohol test & background check
- Field safety experience
- Strong understanding of OSHA Regulations; familiarity with API and ANSI Safety Standards
- Mechanical Aptitude; Ability to learn new processes and industries
- Professional work ethic; Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Open and willing to professional development
- Mindset to approach safety with balanced respect for compliance, business needs, and client requirements
- Willing and able to do the following:
- § Work from home, travel to clients’ sites, and travel between jobsites
- § Periodically stay overnight one, two, or three nights in a week
- § Work occasional weekends or evenings
- § Work in the outdoors in all seasons
- Must have personal transportation and a valid drivers’ license
- Proficient with Microsoft© Word, Excel, & Power Point
Pay: $76,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
