Contracts Specialist (Legal) – Hybrid – Washington, DC
We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist (Legal) with nonprofit experience to join our team for a 6-month hybrid contract located in Washington, DC. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a crucial role in procuring products and services to support our internal functions.
Responsibilities:
Contract Review and Analysis: Review, analyze, and negotiate various contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Software as a Service (SaaS) agreement.
Drafting and Collaboration: Draft SOWs, Change Orders, and Amendments in collaboration with internal teams, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Clause Application: Apply the alternative clause library to contract drafts to ensure alignment with company standards.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal business owners, the legal department, and suppliers to finalize contract terms and secure favorable conditions.
Approval and Processing: Manage contract approval activities and facilitate Purchase Order processing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
