Field Service Technician

The service specialist for RJM Pest Services is an individual that can diagnose and eliminate pest problems at commercial businesses in New York City. The individual must be reliable, have a strong work ethic, can interface with customers and ultimately solve challenging pest problems. Service Technician Job Description Overview:

· Inspect and perform pest control treatment on commercial structures consistent with RJM Pest Service guidelines.

· Build and maintain strong customer relations

· Solve problems and communicate effectively with customers, office staff and leadership team.

· Ensure all work is performed in conjunction with RJM policies and procedures to provide consistent and quality service to each customer

· Responsive to customer questions or concerns.

· Documents all work performed and provides service information to customer

· Familiarity with Smart Phone technology. Work schedule and all documentation will be provided via smart phone.

· Organization, properly maintain tool bag, equipment and service vehicle (if driving tech)

· Year-round full-time work schedule (flexible hours if necessary for right candidate)

Service Technician Individual Qualifications Needed:

· High School diploma or GED

· Experienced commercial urban pest control industry experience is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.

· Organized and detail-oriented individual.

· Good oral communication and report documentation

· Responsible self-starter with the ability to work independently

· Dependable with a strong work ethic and integrity.

· Open minded and willing to learn new things.

· Individual must be comfortable working with insects and rodents in a variety of conditions and confined spaces

· Must be driven to help customers problem solve and provide excellent customer service.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
