Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Route Sales/Bread Delivery professional to join our team in Lancaster County. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicle along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Deliver bread and bakery products to retail stores, restaurants, and other clients efficiently and accurately
- Manage inventory levels on delivery truck, including merchandising products at customer locations
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including lifting of product boxes s
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
Skills
- Strong driving skills with experience in commercial driving and route navigation
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, inventory counts, and route calculations
- Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and product placement efficiently
- Ability to lift loads safely during loading/unloading processes
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in sales or retail environments is a plus
- Military background is considered an asset due to discipline and organizational strengths
This role is for a 3-4 day work week and customarily starts between 3-4 AM. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
