Sales Arborist - 2 openings Inland Empire and the other will be in Los Angeles County with a focus in the San Gabriel Valley.
We're seeking a motivated, high-energy Sales Arborist to take ownership of an existing client portfolio. The right candidate is highly organized, adaptable, comfortable working independently, and energized by the variety that comes with supporting a small, people-focused business. Success in this role means thriving under pressure in a fast-moving environment while staying proactive, resourceful, and consistently professional. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

What You'll Do:
- Generate sales from incoming calls, client referrals, and trade show connections
- Follow up promptly with prospects to hit proposal deadlines
- Prepare job cost estimates and compile proposal materials for the sales team
- Serve as a professional point of contact for office staff, field crews, and clients via phone and email
- Build and deliver presentations for project managers, boards, and committees
- Support collections efforts on past-due accounts when needed
- Contribute to marketing initiatives
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events (BOMA, CAI, CACM)
- Cultivate relationships with allied businesses for mutual referral opportunities
- Join board meetings, pre-bid walks, and bid walks to build project knowledge ahead of submissions
- Oversee and develop direct reports
- Coordinate appointments, events, and site visits through Outlook Calendar
Ideal Background: A Certified Arborist with deep experience in tree trimming/tree care, comfortable navigating relationships with commercial and municipal clients, supervisors, and crew leaders.
- 4 years in a related field preferred
- Natural influencer and self-starter
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with a track record of independently driving work to completion
- Working knowledge of horticulture
What's Required:
- Valid California driver's license with a clean record
- Current Arborist Certificate a plus
- Clean safety history
- Able to walk and inspect sites for up to 8 hours in the field, Mon-Friday 8-5
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
Compensation: $60,000–$100,000 base salary DOE, plus commission 1x base
