Job Overview
Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Phlebotomy Experience Preferred
Location: Salamanca, NY/Seneca Allegany Territory
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Available
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our new, innovative and growing healthcare team in Western New York/Southern Tier. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills along with hands-on phlebotomy experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a forward thinking/ and fast-paced clinical environment. The first of multiple clinic locations to be located throughout the region will be in Salamanca, NY, Seneca Nation Allegany Territory.
The selected candidate will be required to complete specialized training to administer Physiologic Insulin Resensitization (PIR), a new metabolic infusion treatment for diabetic, chronic kidney disease and other chronic care conditions. Training both online and in person at the Well Cell Global Training Center in St. Augustine, FL. Expenses for training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing and lab results
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as needed
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Educating patients and families in healthcare management and prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR)
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for documentation, order entry, and patient data management
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects to advance evidence-based practices.
Qualifications
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Current DEA registration (if applicable)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required or strongly preferred
- Telehealth experience a plus
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding standards for billing purposes
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Experience with EMR systems preferred

Pay: $115,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
