- We are currently searching for an experienced Traffic Control Foreman to join our Construction team of hardworking and dedicated employees.
- Experience/Requirements: 5 yrs. of experience as a foreman.
Experience in Traffic Control. Traffic Control setup, takedown, lane shifts, pilot car operations, diaries, etc.
Job Duties:
- Ensure safety of crew and public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and procedures
- Work with the superintendent to plan your work for the next day.
- Line up crew everyday per work schedule
- Coordinate all trucks and equipment for next days work
- Monitor crews production
- Track quantities
- Ensure traffic control devices are installed to project spec.
- Ensure traffic control devices are installed on time and under budget
- Ensure crews maintains signs, devices, and equipment
- Must understand job layouts, project specifications, blue prints, signage,
- Manage & Develop employees
- Plan, assign, coordinate and evaluate crew members.
- Must be able to adapt to changing job locations and spec.
- Must be able to multi task and delegate responsibilities.
- We have a lot of work in the Baton Rouge metro area.
- We work few weekends.
