Responsibilities

• Field investigation including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations, and/or habitat surveys.
• Post-construction and maintenance monitoring of stormwater best management practices and stream restoration projects.
• Environmental construction and post--construction monitoring.
• Water quality monitoring
• NEPA compliance and environmental permit reports and documentation.
• GIS analysis and mapping, field GPS data collection; and geo-processing.
• Data analysis and documentation
• Technical reports.
• Coordination with state & local agencies.
• Tasks associated with federal, state, and local environmental permits, regulations, and policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience including field work including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations.
• BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field
• Training in forest, wetland, and/or stream assessment
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS
• Proficiency in MS Office computer software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
• Water quality or environmental construction monitoring experience preferred.
• NEPA compliance & environmental permit documentation, preferred.
• Agency coordination and permitting experience, preferred but not required.
• Good teamwork skills, self-motivation, and good communication skills are required.
  
  
  

Job Type: Full Time Hybrid
