Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Schedule appointments accurately
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for Dental PPO insurances
- Manage multi-line phone systems with courteous phone etiquette, handling inquiries and appointment confirmations
- Assist with insurance verification, billing, and collection processes
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, and managing patient intake forms
- Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and care plans while managing appointment scheduling and cancellations
Experience
- Minimum 2 years Dental Office experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology
- Proven ability to handle insurance verification processes and administrative support efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Experience working in a healthcare environment with knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards ensures confidentiality and professionalism
