The Division of Counseling and Psychology offers an APA-accredited doctoral program in Counseling and School Psychology. The doctoral program prepares students to serve their communities through the application of psychological science and practice, guided by the values of respect, compassion,and service.The Division invites applications for a Professor of Practice specializing in Quantitative Methods for Practicing Counseling and School Psychologists . Qualified candidates will have expertise in quantitative methods, graduate-level teaching experience, and a record of applied professionalcontribution.This is a full-time, in-person, non -tenure-track, 9-month appointment. Faculty are expected to deliver high-quality, evidence-based instruction; foster critical thinking; and support student development within a student-centered, practice-oriented doctoral program. Professors of Practice maintain applied clinical or professional work , though ongoing scholarship is welcome.Area of Focus: Quantitative MethodsThe faculty member in this role will prepare students to apply scientific reasoning, research methodology, and data-driven decision-making across psychological practice. Responsibilities include teaching doctoral-level statistics, research methods, and advanced electives in quantitativeand research methodology, as well as supporting student research aligned with a practice-focused doctorate.Candidates should also specify any foundational psychology domains (biological, cognitive/affective, or social bases of behavior) they are qualified to teach.
