The Adjunct, Graduate Psychology Advanced Research Methods is responsible for teaching graduate psychology courses on a part-time basis. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Teach CNSL-864 Research Methods and Design in Psychological Research in the SP26 semester. This is an advanced doctoral course that must be instructed in person on campus as part of the APA residency requirement.· Other courses may be assigned based on other specialty areas of the individual.· Prepare and deliver course content in alignment with departmental guidelines and learning outcomes.· Design and assess assignments, exams, and other evaluation tools to measure student learning and progress.· Maintain regular office hours (in-person or virtual) to provide academic support and mentorship to students.· Utilize the institution’s learning management system (LMS) to manage course materials, grades, and communication.· Encourage student engagement through interactive teaching methods and inclusive classroom practices.· Stay current with developments in psychological science and integrate relevant research into instruction.· Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as required.· Adhere to institutional policies, including those related to academic integrity, accessibility, and student conduct.
