Allied Counseling for Women, LLC is a private counseling practice specializing in women‘s mental health, founded by an LICSW/therapist and mom of 2 in 2022.

We value providing a welcoming, warm, human atmosphere for clients that is supportive and accessible, where our clients feel comfortable showing up as they are and are never made to feel like a number on an endless waitlist.

We are looking to add a licensed therapist (LICSW/LCMHC) with these same values to our practice as we continue to respond to high demand in the community. Our practice cannot keep up with the number of referrals we are getting - come take advantage of our established presence while also having freedom to build your own specialty/clinical niche and caseload.

Your responsibilities will include: conducting psychotherapy sessions either in person, via telehealth or a combination of both, conducting intakes and forming a diagnosis, treatment planning, documenting in EHR, collaborating with peers/supervisor (or other professionals involved in their care) and managing your client schedule independently.

You will be expected/permitted to utilize your independence as a clinician and best clinical judgment, with the support of supervision only as needed. Therefore, this position requires an independent license and a strong ability to assess and problem-solve. Because this position requires autonomy, therapists are compensated at a higher than average industry standard, percentage-wise, and can expect to take home an average of $73.00 per session.

Experience:

- Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a full, unrestricted license to practice.

- Willingness and comfortability working with women and within common women’s issues such as perinatal/postpartum anxiety/depression, relationship concerns, body image issues, narcissistic abuse, parenting, hormonal changes, etc. You are not expected to be an expert at everything, but open to developing a particular area of expertise in this realm, if you do not have one already.

- Familiarity with psychotherapy techniques and interventions. Preference for those trained in ACT, EMDR or CPT - but not required.

- Proficiency in clinical documentation standards.

- Proficiency in modern technology, Google products, willingness to take initiative to learn.

Why Us?

With us, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to design your own schedule. Only 25 clients per week is expected for full-time status with a mix of in office and telehealth days as desired. Spread it over 5 days or do it in 3 - it's up to you. No nights, weekends or on call. We have an unlimited time off policy as long as full-time therapists are averaging 25 clients per week over time.

Part time therapists are expected to see 15 clients per week.

This position could potentially be 100% remote if desired for the right candidate.

This is a W2 position, so there is no worrying about the overhead costs of private practice or trying to save all year for your taxes. We will handle the intake onboarding, admin duties, marketing and billing so you can focus on client care. We offer a very generous percentage of each session, training/CEU reimbursement, and opportunities for clinical growth within the practice/skillset development for you to take with you as you grow in your career.
