The Property Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of assigned properties. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial statements, maintaining accurate journal entries, handling accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Atlanta, GA.
- Strong understanding of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Experience with Journal Entries and Accounting practices
- Proficiency in Finance and related principles
- Attention to detail and high-level analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience with property accounting or real estate accounting is a plus
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is preferred
