Are you full of energy, passion, and ready to make a real difference? We’re searching for an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to partner with our Activities Director in crafting fun, meaningful programs that brighten the days of our residents and build a lively, connected community.
What You’ll Do:
Help plan, organize, and lead a variety of engaging activities—games, music, crafts, socials, and more—that promote physical, social, and emotional well-being
Connect with residents to spark joy, encourage participation, and foster friendships
Create inclusive, accessible activities that everyone can enjoy
Set up and tidy activity spaces, keeping supplies and equipment in top shape
Join team meetings and training to keep programs fresh and exciting
Keep accurate records of resident involvement and activity success
Pitch in with other tasks to support the Activities Director and team
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with older adults in recreational or social roles is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and people skills
A sunny, positive attitude and a true heart for helping others
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
