Working period revolves around academic and summer calendar plus school orientation and required events. Approximately 43 weeks per year. Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm; Friday 7:00am-10:00am Main Function: Seeking a full-time transportation specialist to drive students to and from worksites and off-campus classes. Essential Job Functions:
- Safely transport students to various locations
- Organize transportation schedule
- Track student whereabouts and maintain student safety
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members as necessary
- Routinely check vehicles to ensure they are safe and clean; submit work requests as needed
- All other duties as assigned Competencies and Requirements:
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
- Must be flexible, reliable, exercise good judgment and be able to think critically on your feet
- Demonstrated safe and responsible driving history
- Passion for Riverview’s mission and the field of special education
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Suitable background check result with fingerprinting required
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- High School/Trade School degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US
- Valid driver’s license with clear driving record
- CPR/AED/Standard First Aid certified or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Training and support provided
