Riverside Regional Jail is seeking a full-time Laundry Technician.
Duties
Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently, train and supervise inmate workers in proper laundry procedures, follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment, communicate effectively orally and in writing, maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information, strong organizational and problem solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent required. One (1) year of experience in commercial or industrial laundry operations preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a reliable mode of transportation at the time of hire and throughout the course of employment.
Salary: $50,107 – $71,149
