Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in quality inspection within the aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Must be US Person per ITAR compliance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in quality control or quality assurance.
- Experience with First Article Inspection processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace quality.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct First Article Inspections to verify that initial production samples meet specifications.
- Utilize optical comparators and micrometers to perform precise measurements on components.
- Perform visual inspections on assembly lines to identify defects or non-conformance.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality assessments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
