Recovery Support Navigator - Connect2Recovery
- internal candidates only*
Responsibilities Include
- Provides information about, and facilitate access to, community and recovery supports, including supports for families
- Supports the person served to achieve their own unique pathway of recovery, which may include harm reduction approaches, Medication Assisted Treatment, 12-step, and other methods of recovery.
- Plans and provides supportive, safe activities of varying type and functional level in response to identified needs of consumers.
- Provides support, advocacy and linkage to other services and assists person served in accessing other benefits such as MassHealth, Social Security and housing, as needed.
- Transports consumers to designated activities, events or clinic appointments, as needed and/or assigned
- Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm, with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends
- additional $1 for CPS
- additional $2 for CARC

Required Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Basic computer/technology fluency (including Microsoft Office; comfortable navigating an electronic healthcare system) required.
- Must have a valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle, and be willing to provide transportation to persons served in personal vehicle, as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in mental health related discipline strongly preferred; Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED considered with at least 1 year of related professional experience and/or personal experience.
- RSNs must possess sufficient knowledge and understanding about treatment and recovery from substance use disorders. This includes, but is not limited to: an understanding of addiction services available for Mass Health Members and resources available in the geographic area where they will work.
