Job Description:

Riverside Academy is seeking a passionate and caring Infant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants. You will work closely with parents and caregivers to promote the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive development of children in our care.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Provide individualized care and attention to each infant, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support developmental milestones.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Observe and assess infants' development and share progress with parents.
  • Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the children.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a well-rounded learning experience for infants.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
  • Previous experience working with infants or young children in an early childhood education setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate teaching techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
