WE NEED A CONTRACTOR TO EDIT OUR DOCUSERIES 🎬✨
Family — we are looking for a talented, reliable documentary editor to edit Season 1 of the Healing Across America Road Tour.
We’ve traveled across the country capturing powerful, emotional stories from survivors, grieving parents, Native leaders, activists, OG historians, youth, and everyday people who opened their hearts to us.
Now we need an editor who can honor these stories with the same love and respect we felt in every interview.
📌 ABOUT THE PROJECT
12–15 documentary episodes (45–60 mins each) Series runs from Jan-April so they don't have to be done all at once
Cinematic, heartfelt, trauma-informed storytelling
Remote contract position
Start date: ASAP
Work closely with me (Sharri) our lead editor
Episode 1 MUST be finished by January 10, 2026
Editor must maintain a 2–4 episode in the queue to keep us ahead (at least one week before episode drops)
We are launching Episode 1 on January 18, 2026, so we need someone who is serious about deadlines and passionate about meaningful work.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
An editor who can:
Shape emotional stories with care
Cut long-form documentary content
Color correct & color grade
Clean and mix audio
Add lower thirds, titles, transitions
Collaborate weekly with our team
Handle heavy subject matter with sensitivity
Communicate clearly and consistently
COMPENSATION
Contract position
Paid per approved episode
Rate negotiated based on experience
