Coordinator Events and Promotions Part-Time

Summary: Responsible for the planning and execution of events, promotions and entertainment. Assist the Supervisor Events and Promotions in all general marketing functions.

Essential Job Functions

• Coordinates all customer promotional programs, events and entertainment engagements on property. Responsible assisting the Supervisor Events and Promotions for the day-to-day planning, communication and execution of all efforts associated with promotions, events, & entertainment.
• Assist with all event coordination and requests regarding entertainment, concerts, variety shows and special events
• Brainstorm creative promotion and events concepts and propose plans to bring them from planning into execution.
• Assist Supervisor Events and Promotions for sourcing all décor rentals, coordinating menus, departmental communication, event budgeting, arranging travel plans and ordering event materials/signage.
• Assist with promotional concepts and execution. Duties include but are not limited to creating engaging displays, researching customer gift ideas, submitting promotional rules as needed, preparing communication for operations, scheduling assistance as needed, and ensuring all materials and signage are available at time of promotion.
• Act as liaison between entertainment support teams such as Box Office, Banquets, Stewarding, etc. and the Marketing Department to ensure proper communication and organization of all entertainment events.
• Maintain and track gift inventory and ensure products arrive on time and are properly accounted for after each promotion.
• Responsible for communicating important Marketing information to Operations
• Maintain, track and communicate all offers for Events and Sponsorships
• Proof advertisements and direct mail as needed
• Required to be in attendance for all events and promotions as assigned.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• BA in Marketing or 1 years of marketing related experience.
• Self-starter; Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and very organized.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work varied shifts-weekends; Ability to interact with guests and team members in a positive manner.
  
  

Physical And Mental Demands

• Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequently required to stoop and kneel.
• Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
