- Performs the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current Company policies and procedures, applicable gaming regulations and meeting required rounds per hour by game type.
- Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor of any irregularities while advising a Table Games Supervisor or Pit Manager of any disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealers.
- Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pays or collects bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
- Supports and maintains guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations.
- Assists with the cleanliness of the casino property Front and Heart of House.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- 1 - 2 years' experience in multiple casino games
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have 6 months or more of dealing experience in the last 5 years or have successfully completed a Rivers Casino dealer school.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
- Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to sports betting.
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in written format with Team members and guests.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to be a TEAM player.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time.
- See, walk, talk and hear as well as using hands to handle, feel and reach gaming equipment (cards, chips, dice, shuffle devices, etc)
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to identify colors.
- Be able to turn your upper body at least 60 degrees.
- Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise, bright lights, smoke, and dust.
