RiverPointe Surgery Center is seeking a dependable, organized, and professional Clinical & Administrative Operations Assistant to support our clinical leadership team and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to support staff, physicians, and leadership in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The Clinical & Administrative Operations Assistant will play an important role in coordinating communications, maintaining records, supporting regulatory and quality activities, and assisting with operational projects that promote safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day clinical and administrative support.
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, agendas, minutes, correspondence, and follow-up items.
- Prepare staff communications, reports, presentations, forms, and other operational documents.
- Assist with staff education tracking, orientation materials, competency records, and personnel documentation.
- Maintain organized records related to policies and procedures, quality improvement, infection prevention, compliance, and regulatory readiness.
- Support physician onboarding, credentialing, temporary privileges, preference card collection, and communication with medical staff services.
- Assist with vendor coordination, equipment service documentation, supply requests, purchase documentation, and facility projects.
- Help monitor required employee licenses, certifications, and annual education requirements.
- Assist with collecting and organizing data for quality, safety, infection control, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
- Communicate professionally with staff, physicians, anesthesia providers, vendors, and hospital partners.
- Provide administrative or front desk coverage as needed.
- Protect confidential employee, patient, physician, and business information in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
- Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preference given to applicants with experience in credentialing and/or regulatory affairs.
- Experience in a healthcare, hospital, medical office, or ambulatory surgery center setting strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, must have high degree of familiarity with Excel and Word. Including creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records, scheduling systems, credentialing platforms, or document-management systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, dependable, service-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use standard office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift or move files, supplies, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
